It will allow you to survive during troubled times without having to rely on stores being open, water and shelter being available, or other necessities being provided by third-parties. You can be self-sufficient while the situation stabilizes.

Please remember, when you get your kit,  you will need to add some of your personal items like: Medications, eyeglasses, change of clothing, important documents etc.
